Sony BMG Malware
It has been found quite recently, that for the last 8 months, music CD's from Sony automatically install software on a users computer without the users knowledge.
The software gets installed, and is then hidden using some sneaky windows tricks, so even if you have your computer set up to view all files, they will not be visible. Hacking into your computer so that you can see the files, and then deleting them, causes ones CDROM drivers to be disabled.
This was uncovered by some guru a week ago, and has now made the Science/Tech headlines on many sites. Well, after this, how can one trust Sony?
Well, I already hated Sony before this incident. For other reason's which I already have stated. So, what can I say? It wouldn't worry me, because I have disabled autorun anyway. But it is really pretty sneaky.
